An exclusive temple of wellness called Lefay Resort

If Green is the new Luxury - Lefay resort and Spa is just it!

I was immediately awestruck with the stunning views of Lake Garda and the hills of Gargnano, an idyllic village on the shores of Lake Garda, that surrounds the property. I could just stare at it for hours, in a spectacular heated pool that I shared with Rugby players, and other people focus on R&R, wellness and healthy living.  Besides being very eco-friendly, there was also a great sense of space in the property. One of many facts that caught my attention about Lefay and I was impressed by, was the fact that there was no air-conditioning. Lefay Resort cools the rooms by running cold water pipes, how cool is that? Literary!  This is the real deal when you talk about a eco resort. With 93 luxury rooms and totally off the grid. The discovery of the area was related to sustainability. It features wellness from phytotherapy, one of the oldest medical remedies to products for wellness from plants. Paradise!

In the heart of the spectacular “Riviera dei Limoni” set amongst 27 acres of natural parkland, pine and olive groves, the resort features a luxurious contemporary eco hotel and state-of-the art medi-spa.

Lefay Resort and Spa is quite simply described as a heaven that is full of light and color. My stay at Lefay was nothing less then extraordinary.

Accommodation ranges from Prestige and Deluxe Rooms to the Royal Pool and Spa Suite. Features include terraces with lake-views, bio-climatisation, king or twin size beds and marble bathrooms.

The Ice Pool - A new addition to the Resort Spa is absolutely fascinating!

An exclusive temple of wellness extending over 3,800 square meters, where body and soul are rejuvenated through the rediscovery of vital energy.

Lefay's cuisine and atmosphere with spectacular service will leave you feeling upbeat .

The gourmet concept offers a modern take on the traditional Mediterranean diet, using only fresh and seasonal local produce. A light menu is available for guests on the weight loss program. La Grande Limonia is the main restaurant serving a la carte dinner and buffet breakfasts, with lots of healthy options.

So this is Lefay, simply spectacular! And I'll finish my blog with the perfect description of the place where this gold mine can be located:

There are vineyards and olive woods and lemon gardens on the hill at the back. There is a lovely little square, where the Italians gossip and the fishermen pull up their boats, just near. Everything is too nice for words – not a bit touristy, quite simply Italian common village”D. H. Lawrence from a letter to Edward Garrett September 16th, 1912
